I'm a photographer living and working in the South Cheshire area of the UK. I'm in striking distance of Manchester, Birmingham, North Wales, Derbyshire, the Lake District and a host of other beautiful and interesting areas of Britain. I primarily shoot artwork images for prints and I'm available for product, event or location photography.

My main interest is in landscape and nature photography and those are the images you'll see most often in my prints gallery. I view photography as an essentially editorial process. Making an image is about telling the viewer something. In my process I'm not shy about manipulating images in order to show you what I want you to see. I rarely use compositing but I frequently use techniques for changing light, colour and tone. This is all done with the intention of creating an atmosphere that draws you into the scene. I often play with focus, vignetting, dodging and burning, duotoning and any other technique that interests me and that I think will make the image "pop".

I hope you enjoy what you see. Many of my images use reduced colours and feature high contrasts. Please note that if your computer monitor is badly calibrated these images might appear dark or lack detail. There are a variety of methods for monitor calibration but the very best way to see my work is in print.
